Introduction

A private developer engaged Nadi Group to provide land planning and design consulting services for a premier RV resort situated on a 115-acre property in Talking Rock, Georgia. Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, the resort—known as Talking Rock Motorcoach Resort—aims to offer a luxurious and serene retreat for motorcoach enthusiasts, blending upscale amenities with the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Project Summary

The resort features terraced, spacious lots designed to accommodate Class A motorhomes. Each site includes level concrete pads, full hookups, and amenities such as fire pits and picnic tables. The development emphasizes preserving the natural environment, with only 20 acres developed and the remaining land maintained as pristine nature with walking trails.

Amenities at the resort include a Mediterranean-style clubhouse equipped with a fitness center, lounge areas, a veranda, a heated swimming pool, pickleball courts, and access to nearby hiking and biking trails. The resort's location offers guests proximity to local attractions, including wineries, breweries, and the scenic Amicalola Falls.

Our Role

Nadi Group undertook a comprehensive planning and design process, beginning with a detailed site analysis to assess topography, vegetation, and existing land use. This informed the creation of a master plan that strategically positioned RV sites to maximize mountain views and privacy while ensuring efficient circulation and access to amenities.

The design focused on harmonizing the built environment with the natural terrain, preserving existing trees, and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the resort. The layout incorporated open space planning, recreational features, and thoughtful amenity placement aligned with the resort’s upscale positioning and long-term vision.
