Introduction
Riverside Drive is a prime real estate location and significant road in Ottawa, Ontario. A private developer contracted Nadi Group to help develop a site master plan for a large townhouse and condo development for 3071 Riverside Drive.
Project Summary
The client envisioned a pedestrian-focused space that would be geared towards a mature demographic, while the city of Ottawa required the developer to reserve .8-hectares of land for green space. To ensure a successful site master plan, we referenced the city’s Official Plan objectives and took into consideration current residents’ expectations and concerns into our site master plan. The site, which formally housed Bayview Public School, is a large parcel of land that has frontage along Riverside Drive and generous view of Mooney’s Bay Beach, park and Rideau River and Canal.
Our Role
Nadi Group embraced the client’s vision and the city’s objectives in the master plan by enhancing the site’s resilience and longevity through sustainable technologies, including green plazas, rooftop terraces and a passive natural trail system. This project is completed.
