Introduction 

Bolt Farm Treehouse is a luxury boutique outdoor wellness retreat, located in a breathtaking mountaintop setting in Whitwell, Tennessee. The development includes well-appointed geodesic domes, custom built treehouses, and elegant A-frame cabins. Since its 2015 inception, the original 18.4-acre resort has received critical acclaim by such entities as Architectural Digest, Apple News and Conde Nast Traveler. Our Role 

Nadi Group provided land-planning and operational consulting services to enhance the Bolt Farm Treehouse’s strong brand and 33.8-acre expansion project, including site analysis, field consultation/site inspection services, and sketch master planning. Specifically, the firm developed a system for laying out mirrored cabins (OOD^TM) as part of the 33.8-acre expansion and reconfiguration strategy intended to grow the resort from 14 to approximately 80 sites. The sketch master plan integrated breathtaking natural site elements and view sheds, proposed primary road circulation patterns, golf cart/walking trails, and 80+ glamping spaces (including mirrored cabins, custom geodesic domes, tree houses, and A-frame cabins). 

Project Summary 

The 52.2-acre outdoor wellness retreat is located at 600 English Cove Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397. Already a significant regional destination, attracting visitors from Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta and Birmingham, the reconfiguration and expansion will be phased over the next few years, carefully incorporating the unique topography and view sheds while providing a 5-star luxury wellness experience to an even wider audience.
