Woodlands (Tunnell RV), Delaware

Introduction

To meet the growing needs of Long Neck, Delaware tourism, a mixed development of RV and manufactured homes was planned, near the popular Baywood Greens, an affordable resort-style community Master Planned by Nadi Group.

Involved in site and amenity planning with particular sensitivity to the environment and site resources.

Project Summary

Woodlands Recreation Vehicle Resort and Community is a Large multi-use resort and Water park.  The site has many interesting features; open fields, woodlands, wetlands, floodplains and access to a creek leading to the Intercostal Waterway.  These site features provided the planner opportunities to provide a variety of RV experiences; Standard pull through and back in sites catering to the short term and seasonal clients, Luxury sites for motor home and class A RV’s, Cabins and Park trailer accommodations for rent and ownership.  An extensive array of amenities is proposed including a large water park serving not only the RV clientele, but also visitors and residents of the surrounding residential areas.
