Bloomer Woods, Michigan

Introduction

Bloomer Woods is a 30-lot site condominium on a parcel created by the combination of vacant existing large homesites in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Our Role

Nadi group was involved in site planning, landscape design and tree preservation, as well as imaging for the project.  Nadi Group assisted the developer in successfully navigating the approval process.  

Project Summary

A complicating factor in the planning process arose when it was realized that a regulated wetland existed on the north portion of the site. A small low-quality wetland was permitted to be removed and extraordinary measures were incorporated to improve tree preservation. The community consists of high-quality residential homes and an attractive boulevard entrance with a landscaped stone monument sign.  Accent features matching the monument were incorporated into the detention facility to provide a more attractive appearance.
