Williams Meadows, North Dakota

Introduction

Williams Meadows is an age restricted land lease manufactured home community in Williams County, North Dakota that fulfilled the critical need for suitable, affordable housing for seniors in the Williston area.  

Our Role

As land planners for this project, we were involved in site design, image and signage for the community; and successfully lead the application for conditional use under the County ordinance.

Project Summary

This project was unique, in that the development was required to meet both the County Ordinance and the state ordinance.  An extensive evaluation was undertaken to determine the base requirements that would fulfill both ordinances. Additional features were incorporated into the plan to mitigate impacts to adjacent properties, including substantial buffers, screen plantings and an attractive boulevard entrance with flanking entrance signs.
