Introduction

The need for attainable housing in NewMexico is growing and this project offered the opportunity to fulfill that need with a manufactured home community in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area.

Our role in this project was to design an affordable housing opportunity for all ages with attractive homes and private living spaces.

Project Summary

Nadi Group was approached to design a manufactured home community in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area. The design team provided a plan incorporating affordable manufactured homes on spacious sites for distinctive housing opportunities. The site provided unique challenges with a major floodway running through it.  The floodway was utilized for community common spaces including walking paths and active amenity areas.  A unique feature of this project is that the homes will utilize grey water (water collected from sinks and showers) to provide landscape irrigation, providing a sustainable water source in an arid region.
