Introduction

A private developer enlisted Nadi Group to expand and update the master plan for an existing RV park and campground facility located on a small island near Sacramento, California.

Project Summary

This site was unusual as it sat on a long, narrow island and was only accessible through a land bridge. It already had existing manufactured housing and RV site that limited green space on each side. We provided an analysis of the site, working within the site's constraints, to design an updated plan. Our master plan expanded the site's capacity while maintaining a passive amenity space and proposing an additional clubhouse area and manufactured beachfront.

Our Role

The Nadi Group's master plan reconfigured and expanded this 10-acre park, including 51 park models (two staff units) and 29 RV sites. We also increased the dock layout to ensure everyone in the park had equitable access to the waterfront and boating areas. This project is ongoing.
