RV Resort in Belvidere, Illinois

Introduction

A private developer enlisted Nadi Group to design the master plan for a new RV resort to integrate with a entertainment hub located beside Lake Bonita in Belvidere, Illinois.

Project Summary

This project is in an area with many successful RV parks ranging from old to new. The site is adjacent to an existing residential community, several smaller homesites and a forested area. The biggest natural feature is Lake Bonita, which will be the main attraction for water activities. Our master plan provides a layout that enables the resort to be clustered and serviced by comfort stations and pathways. Amenities will include a clubhouse, pool, pavilion, mini-golf, corn maze, playground, dog park and cart and walking paths. The RV resort will also complement the entertainment hub, which will feature a 50’ x110’ pavilion, restaurant, marina, beach and a walking ‘parade-ready’ path surrounding Lake Bonita.

Our Role

Nadi Group's master plan for this 50-acre resort provides 369 RV sites, which consist of back-in, pull-thru, pull-in and extended stay sites.
