Introduction

A private developer engaged Nadi Group to provide land planning services for a 40-acre site outside of Dallas, Texas.  

Our Role

The Nadi Group created a master plan for Horsehill Lake RV Resort. Our plan provided 339 sites with a mix of back-in, pull-thru and park model sites. The plan also includes a central amenity center.

Project Summary

Horsehill Lake RV Resort is located on one of the largest lakes in north Texas. The site, formerly a horse ranch, has many interesting features including open fields, woodlands, rolling hills and steep terrain. Extensive tree preservation was achieved, providing wooded natural camp sites and a native buffer with hiking trails throughout. With more gentle slopes and open space, the central portion of the site allowed for an amenity center with clubhouse facilities to provide both active and passive recreation.
